Not the greatest ride in the Grand Valley but I still like to revisit it once in a <br />
while.<br />
Too much sand lots of rock drops, sweet single track, and ups and downs. I <br />
usually ride the Rim Trail as a figure 8. Ride east across the cattle guard <br />
and turn right Continue straight on RV Trail #4 to the ridge. Follow the <br />
road that drops down to the bench. Watch for Trail # 8 to take off on the <br />
left. Ride in a clockwise direction. When you climb back out continue north <br />
on #4 now the road watch for the single track on the left. Be aware this is <br />
also getting to be a popular motorcycle route
Take I-70 west from Fruita for 15 miles to Exit 2 Rabbit Valley. Drive south ½ <br /><br />mile turn left and park at the kiosk.
